Pat Seaman is Cabinet Member for Children and Young People appointed in May 2018.
She was born and raised in Coventry and regards her first career as raising her six children with her husband David.
Pat has held a range of employment positions with Coventry City Council

· Children and Family Education Worker (Inclusion projects SEND)
· Corporate Accredited Representative - Unite the Union
She has been a member of the Labour Party for many years holding lots of different positions. She is also a school governor at Moat House Primary School.
Pat was elected to Coventry City Council in 2015 and has held the following responsibilities in conjunction with representing residents in Henley Ward. She has been a member of Coventry Adoption Panel, Whitefriars Housing Board, Deputy Cabinet Member Children and Young People and Chair of planning committee in 2017.
Pat is committed to meeting the needs and aspirations of Children and Young People in Coventry and ensuring to the best of her ability their safety and wellbeing.
