Following on from a spate of road accidents residents are
concerned about excessive speeds and reckless driving. Monkswood
Crescent is used as a short cut through to Wood End, avoiding the
traffic lights on Henley Road and the average speed cameras.
Traffic on these roads has increased significantly and the speed
some drivers demonstrate indicate that they have little care for
the residents. There have been 3 accidents in 6 days. one involving
a 74 year old lady.
We urge the council to act without delay.
