Save this beautiful ash tree from being felled by Coventry City Council

We the undersigned petition the Council to keep the ash tree near Howes Lane in Finham. This tree needs careful pruning and managing, not felling.

This beautiful tree is at the entrance to a playing field in the Finham area of Coventry. It comes into bloom every year and jackdaws and jays regularly nest in the tree in the spring and summer months. Despite the tree showing no signs of ash dieback, and having never lost a single branch, even in the worst winter storms, Coventry City Council want to cut down and destroy this amazing tree. They claim it is diseased, but does it look diseased? Trees are amazing plants, and have incredible systems to live for centuries with disease!
We have lost so many large, mature trees in the area, I believe it is really important to keep the few we have remaining. Please sign and share this petition to try and stop the tree being felled. What 3 words ///proven.agree.hills.
