Reduce traffic speeds on Parkgate Road
We the undersigned petition the Council to reduce traffic speeds on Parkgate Road. We, the undersigned residents of Parkgate Road and surrounding areas have grave concerns regarding the high speed of vehicles travelling along our road and the safety of children crossing the road at the Zebra crossing outside Parkgate School.
Parkgate road is used as a route for many children walking to local schools and nursery's and there have been several near misses with cars failing to slow down . We ask that the council undertake to survey the volume and speeds of traffic, in a minimum of two locations along this long road, and report back to residents with options for the introduction of traffic calming measures
