We the undersigned petition the Council to consider our concerns about the significant traffic congestion, noise pollution and littering resulting from the "drive through" operation taking place at The Farmhouse Restaurant adjacent to Hearsall Common. The congestion is severe and has impacted residents' access to their property, caused road hazards and restricted access to emergency vehicles. This has also caused as issue with littering and noise pollution in the nearby vicinity.
We are happy that the business is thriving in current times, but would suggest an alternate model for this business operation such as click and collect at pre-arranged time slots and that customers not be permitted to reside in the restaurant to eat their food after collection as is the current practise. We would be very grateful if you would consider these issues, and let us know how you intend to address them.
A number of residents have complained about the congestion and
restricted access to their properties, littering in the nearby
residential area, and towards Canley Station and the business park.
Noise pollution has also posed a problem to nearby residents from
revving engines, speeding cars, beeping horns and groups of people
congregating to socialise outside residential properties late at
night.
