The planning application has made significant changes to the the
previously approved plan. Among these changes are: the destruction
of an ancient pond and surrounding trees, the removal of
restrictions on trees and hedgerows, the locating of dwellings
within a zone designated by the Flood Protection Officer as to be
free from construction.
There are also concerns about the additional traffic that will be
generated by the new estate on roads that are already
congested.
