We residents of Holbrooks and surrounding areas, oppose the closure of the Holbrooks branch of Coventry building society.
Located in the heart of our community, this branch has good access and is used by many elderly and disabled residents, parents taking and collecting children from local schools and local businesses.
There will be no other branch within walkable distance, the Arena branch is over 30 minutes walk away, and as Holbrook’s had become more deprived fewer have funds to pay for bus fare.
We understand that in these strange times businesses are having
to make difficult decisions in order to avoid redundancies, however
we ask you reconsider closing this branch fir the sake of our
community.
