We the undersigned petition the Council to This petition is being raised on behalf of concerned residents who feel that the intended pollarding and removal of three perfectly healthy willow trees is stopped. The trees valued at £250K have a greater worth in terms of the areas environmental bio diversity and the continued use by a multitude of wildlife. The trees have been independently assessed/inspected and there is NO reason for their removal, no loss of branches, no leaning, no disease. There seems to be no local outcry for their removal and no risk to those nearby or those who use the roads alongside. They are seen as an asset by residents who have NOT be consulted in any way!
