We the undersigned petition the Council to register our objections to the following 2 applications –
The two applications, are PL/2025/0000826/PIP and PL/2025/0000828/PIP - proposals for 6 and 9 self-build houses at Jubliee Wood, Watery Lane, Keresley.
This site is part of the Keresley Jubilee Wood, created in 2012 and protected in the current Coventry Local Plan.
In 2023 two memorial trees were planted commemorating the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of King Charles III, in the meadow area now proposed for housing.
The planning applications for the erection of between 6 and 9 self-build dwellings and upgrading of the existing vehicular access off Watery Lane and the creation of new roads and accesses into the proposed site is totally unacceptable.
Residents within Keresely will suffer from oppressive views, poor air quality and be constantly disturbed by light and noise pollution. Furthermore, it will cause traffic chaos.
The Jubilee Wood has protection.
