We the undersigned petition the Council to refurbish/repair the children's play area at Stoke Green Village estate. The residents of Stoke Green Village, are concerned about the current condition of the children’s play area at the Stoke Green Village estate, which was provided by the developer as part of the Section 106 agreement.
Since the play area was installed, it appears that it has not been properly maintained by the developer or their appointed agent. The swings and zip line have been stolen, while other play equipment has been vandalised and is now in need of repair.
We call on Coventry City Council to ensure that the developer fulfils its contractual obligations under the Section 106 agreement and takes responsibility for the proper maintenance and upkeep of the play area.
We are also calling for immediate action to repair or replace the damaged and missing equipment and to ensure that the play area is safe, secure and suitable for local children to use.
Play area was built by the developer under the S106 agreement.
It has not been maintained since by the developer.
