Coundon Hall Park is a large public park which currently has no toilet facilities. Since the new accessible footpaths and cycleway opened connecting the Waste Lane end of the park to the Long Lane end, along with a new and safe pedestrian/cycle entrance at Tamworth Road, there has been a massive increase in people visiting the park. Because of the lack of toilet facilities, it is increasingly common to see people of all ages using the nearest bush to go to the toilet; for whatever reason, not everyone can "hold it in." This can be degrading and embarassing for them - particularly the elderly - and also for the people who witness it. This petition calls on Coventry City Council to urgently address and rectify this issue.
