We the undersigned petition the Council to recognise that our rivers, streams and waterways are a key part of our environment. We recognise the work done by Coventry City Council to maintain and develop these areas for the benefit of both Coventry Citizens and the environment as a whole.
We therefore call on the council to continue its work in partnership with local and national campaign groups to advance the Motion for the Ocean agenda. By collaborating with experts, community organisations, and environmental advocates, the council can help protect our waterways, strengthen conservation efforts, and support a healthier, more sustainable future for our local environment.
