Public Health, A healthy Journey to schools and Active Travel demand environmental access, which is a human right. The Equality Act 2010 protects intersectional rights to access. The Town and Country Planning Act 1948 allows horse riding for recreation within metropolitan parks. However, the installation of gates and fencing in public common spaces, such as footpath gates, kissing gates, cycle paths gates, and alienating fencing, can create social problems such as alienation, discrimination, public health issues such as obesity and damage. Therefore, we demand that public common spaces like public rights of way and metropolitan parks completely remove gates, such as footpath gates, kissing gates, cycle paths, and alienating fencing, in areas where there are no cattle, as this can be discriminatory, and environmentally alienating.
