To agree the minutes of the Sub-Committee (2) (Hackney Carriage & Private Hire Taxi Licensing) held on 18^th November 2025.

The minutes of the meeting held on 18^th of November 2025 were agreed and signed as a true record.

There were no matters arising.

RESOLVED that, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the items of business indicated below on the grounds that those items involve the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in Schedule 12A of that Act, in particular those paragraphs of Part 1 of the Schedule as indicated:

RESOLVED that, having considered the circumstances set out in the report of the Director of Law and Governance now submitted,

(a)  The application for the Grant of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence be granted with 3 months suspension.

(b)  The application for the Grant of a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence be refused

(Note: The Applicant and a union representative attended the meeting in support of his case).
