Applications for the Grant/Suitability to hold Hackney Carriage & Private Hire Drivers' Licences

Reports of the Director of Law and Governance on the following:

Minutes:

RESOLVED that, having considered the circumstances set out in the report of the Director of Law and Governance now submitted,

 

(a)  The Application for the Renewal of Hackney Carriage Drivers Licence be granted with a written warning.

 

(Notes: i) Councillor B Christopher did not vote on this application as they were not present at the start of the meeting. ii) The Applicant and his union representatives attended the meeting in support of his case).

 

(b)  The application for the Re-Grant of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence be granted with a verbal warning.

 

(Notes: i) The Applicant attended the meeting in support of his case).

 

(c)  The Application for the Review of a Private Driver’s Licence be granted with a written warning.

 

(Notes: i) The Applicant and his union representatives attended the meeting in support of his case).
