Report of the Head of Planning and Regulation

The Committee considered a report of the Head of Planning and Regulation detailing the above application for construction of grade separated junction with associated access roads, landscaping, drainage and engineering works which was recommended for approval.

 

The Late Representation report set out amended conditions, C8, in respect of drainage details.

 

Bablake Ward Councillors, J Birdi and G Williams, together with three registered speakers were present at the meeting and spoke in respect of their objections to the application.  Three further registered speakers had submitted statements which summarised their objections and which were read out at the meeting. The applicant was not present at the meeting.

 

Following concerns raised in respect of the possible impact on the existing layby on the A45 southern carriageway, Members agreed an additional condition that the extent of the impact be investigated and the layby relocated if necessary.

 

RESOLVED that planning permission be granted in respect of Application FUL/2019/2671 subject to conditions including the additional condition detailed above in respect of the layby.
