56.	Exclusion of Press and Public To consider whether to exclude the press and public for the items of private business for the reasons shown in the reports. Minutes: RESOLVED that, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the item of business relating to the private report in Minute 59 below headed “Application for Grant of a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence” on the grounds that the item involves the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in Schedule 12A of that Act, in particular paragraphs 1 and 3 of Part 1 of the Schedule.

Application for Grant of a Hackney Carriage Driver's Licence View the reasons why item 59. is restricted Minutes: RESOLVED that, having considered the circumstances set out in the report of the Director of Streetscene and Regulatory Services now submitted, the application for the grant of a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence be approved. The Committee also recommended that the application fee be reimbursed. (Notes: 1. The Applicant was present at the meeting. 2. Councillor S Walsh did not participate in the voting as he was not present for the entire discussion.)
