Poor Conditions at a Food Business

Minutes:

RESOLVED that, having considered a report of the Deputy Chief Executive (Place):

 

1.  The Council Solicitor be authorised to institute legal proceedings under the Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013 in respect of the alleged poor hygiene conditions at Perios Chicken, 189 Walsgrave Road, Coventry.

 

2.  That authority be delegated to the Director (Streetscene and Regulatory Services) to authorise legal proceedings for any further offences which may come to light before the case under consideration has been resolved in court.

Refusal to carry assistance dog and disabled passenger by licensed Private Hire Driver

Minutes:

RESOLVED that, having considered a report of the Deputy Chief Executive (Place):

 

1.  The Council Solicitor be authorised to institute legal proceedings under the Section 170 (3) of the Equality Act 2010 against appropriate persons in respect of a refusal to carry an assistance dog and a disabled passenger.

 

2.  That authority be delegated to the Director (Streetscene and Regulatory Services) to authorise legal proceedings for any further offences which may come to light before the case under consideration has been resolved in court.
