Illegal DVDs Minutes: RESOLVED that, having considered a report of the Executive Director of Place, the Council Solicitor be authorised to institute legal proceedings under the Trade Marks Act 1994 and the Video Recordings Act 1984 against appropriate persons in respect of the alleged illegal DVDs found at Deans Video, 6 Wheelwright Lane, Coventry.
In addition, it was agreed to delegate powers to the Assistant Director for Streetscene and Regulatory Services to authorise legal proceedings for any further offences which may come to light before the case under consideration has been resolved in court.

Illegal Cosmetic Products Minutes: RESOLVED that, having considered a report of the Executive Director of Place, the Council Solicitor be authorised to institute legal proceedings under Regulation 12(1) of the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013 and Regulation 20 of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 against appropriate persons in respect of the alleged illegal cosmetic products found at Barcode, 21b The Burgess, Coventry.
In addition, it was agreed to delegate powers to the Assistant Director for Streetscene and Regulatory Services to authorise legal proceedings for any further offences which may come to light before the case under consideration has been resolved in court.
