The minutes of the Committee meeting held on 5 July 2016 and the Sub-committee hearing held on 8 June 2016 were signed as true records.

RESOLVED that, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1927, the public be excluded from the meeting for the items of business indicated below, on the grounds that those items involve the likely disclosure of exempt information and that there would be no public interest in disclosing that information, as defined in Schedule 12A of that Act, in particular those paragraphs of Part 1 of the Schedule as indicated:

There were no urgent items of public business.

(a)  The application for grant of a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence by Mr Jatinder Balu be refused.

(Note: Mr Balu had been invited to the meeting but did not attend)

(b)  The application for grant of a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence Mr Uzain Hussain be refused.

(Note: Mr Husssain attended the meeting in support of his application.)

(c)  The application for renewal of a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence by Mr Andrew Bryden McFadyean be granted and suspended for two months.
