RESOLVED that Councillor Mrs Lucas be elected to chair this meeting.

There were no declarations of interest.

To consider whether, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, to exclude the press and public for the item of private business on the grounds that that item involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Schedule 12A of that Act, in particular paragraph 1 of Part 1 of that Schedule.

RESOLVED that, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, the public be excluded from the meeting for the item of business contained in Minute 5 below relating to "Appointment of Acting Deputy Director Strategy and Communities and Acting Deputy Director Early Intervention and Social Care on the grounds that those items involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Schedule 12A of that Act, in particular Category 1 of Part I of that Schedule.
